Valhalla's Winning Streak
Valhalla Boatworks makes it two in a row with a sport yacht that delivers serious speed, innovative design, and weekend cruising comfort.

Valhalla Boatworks has done it again. The Viking Yacht Company brand captured its second consecutive FOX Sports Best of Show award at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) on October 26, with the new 46 Sport Yacht winning the under-60-foot category in 2026. The victory follows the brand’s 55 Sport Yacht’s win in the same category the previous year.
Making its world premiere in Fort Lauderdale, the 46 Sport Yacht combines a manufacturer-reported 60-mph top speed with an enclosed pilothouse, two staterooms, and versatile entertaining spaces. The latest addition to Valhalla’s Sport Yacht lineup brings Viking’s boatbuilding expertise to a design intended for everything from spirited offshore runs to comfortable weekend escapes.
“This is a great honor for our team,” said Viking President and CEO Patrick J. Healey. “We have an incredible group of boatbuilders in New Jersey. From design and engineering to the people who build these boats every day, everyone played a part. I’m proud of what they’ve accomplished. That’s what building a better boat every day means.”
Performance Meets Versatility
Healey calls the 46 Sport Yacht the “Bahama Express,” a nod to its ability to make quick trips across the Gulf Stream while providing the comforts needed for overnight cruising.
Measuring 46 feet, 7 inches, the yacht is powered by triple Mercury V12 600-hp Verado outboards. A Michael Peters-designed double-stepped running surface is engineered for high-speed performance and responsive handling.
The enclosed pilothouse offers protection from the elements without sacrificing the open-air experience. Powered side doors, a retractable aft window, and a sunroof allow owners to open the space to the outdoors or close it up for air-conditioned comfort.
A summer kitchen and U-shaped cockpit lounge provide space for entertaining, while powered balcony doors expand the deck area and bring guests closer to the water.

Built for More Than a Day Trip
Belowdecks, the two-stateroom layout includes a forward queen berth and twin guest berths, along with a galley and a head with a separate shower. It’s a practical arrangement for owners who want the flexibility to make a quick island run, spend a night at anchor, or extend the getaway through the weekend.
Valhalla also offers an open-pilothouse configuration and a Sportfish Edition, providing options for owners whose interests range from family cruising and entertaining to offshore fishing.

A Winning Tradition
As part of Viking Yacht Company, Valhalla Boatworks draws on the New Jersey builder’s decades of design, engineering, and construction experience. The 46 Sport Yacht was designed and engineered in-house and built at Viking Mullica, with tooling developed at Viking’s New Gretna facility.
With serious outboard power, flexible entertaining spaces, and accommodations suited to weekend cruising, the 46 Sport Yacht offers plenty of reasons to venture beyond the next inlet.
