A Luxury Express Designed for Easy Ownership
Tiara Yachts is steeped in more than 50 years of boatbuilding. Patriarch Leon Slikkers invested decades of expertise into what is now a three-generation family-owned company designing luxury vessels that reflect customer lifestyles and preferences.
The 39 LE joins Tiara’s Luxury Express line alongside the 43 and 46, all outboard-powered models tailored for entertaining and watersports, compacting that luxury and convenience into a family boat that’s easy to handle, dock, and maintain, ideal for newer boaters or those looking to downsize without compromise.

Stepping through the starboard-side boarding door, a beamy 12-foot-6-inch synthetic teak deck welcomes guests aboard. Twin Mercury Verado 600 V-12 engines promise performance, while the expansive swim platform teases that a dip in the water is just steps away. A telescoping ladder to port and an insertable ladder at the boarding door facilitate easy entry and exit, as does the portside terrace, which opens to add several feet of deck space. Pull up a chair, unroll your towel, and soak up the sun—or deploy the Makefast sunshade for cockpit cover if desired.
Lounge or Adventure: Two Distinct Ways to Cruise
A notable feature of the Lounge edition is the nearly full-beam, forward-facing bench seat that comfortably fits four adults. The entire bench rotates, shifting the grill, sink, and counter to starboard for easy food preparation while allowing passengers to enjoy the portside view. Spin it fully aft to watch swimmers or the boat’s powerful wake. Large storage lockers within this substantial piece of outdoor furniture accommodate dive gear, bags, and water toys.
In the Adventure version, the bench can be replaced with livewells, rod holders, and a workstation, along with a fold-down transom bench seat. This layout provides more deck space—ideal for fishing, diving, or adventure watersports—and the in-deck insulated boxes double as storage, coolers, or fish boxes. A center deck hatch houses equipment, including an Onan generator, air-conditioning unit, and a Seakeeper 4.5 gyro.

Entertaining-Focused Design
In either version, the aft-facing portside mezzanine bench with a drop-down backrest conceals drawers, storage, and a counter suitable for tackle or gear. A mountable teak table, stowed under the seat, makes snacking or dining comfortable and can be moved inside when needed. To starboard, a wet bar with a sink, counter, and cooler—or optional refrigerator—further enhances outdoor entertaining. For those who can’t live without a TV on board, Tiara offers an optional screen that folds down from the hardtop. Deployed only from the helm, it includes a safety locking pin.
Up one step, a forward-facing companion seat mechanically turns aft to create an L-shaped lounge. The Stidd helm seat strikes a perfect balance between performance and comfort—bolstered and athletic, yet plush enough for long runs. It glides effortlessly fore and aft and swivels toward center, transforming from command post to conversation hub.
Helm Technology That Simplifies Boating
At the helm, Tiara delivers a captain’s stage worthy of the spotlight. Twin 17-inch Garmin displays glow within an ergonomically raised dash, paired with the EmpirBus digital switching system for fingertip command of onboard systems. Tiara’s proprietary interface keeps everything centered and intuitive, with a redundant control set at the portside seat—because confidence on the water is all about control and backup.
Docking and close-quarters maneuvering are refreshingly stress-free thanks to the bow thruster, Zipwake trim-tab system, and Mercury joystick controls. The wide, sweeping windshield frames the horizon beautifully, offering commanding sightlines from helm to bow. Even at my vertically challenged height, I could see clearly over the dash and across the recessed sunpad. The yacht-inspired wood steering wheel and sculpted helm pod feel substantial and refined, while rich wood and textured accents throughout the cockpit add a welcoming layer of warmth and sophistication.
When the weather turns, the cockpit responds in kind. A full soft enclosure zips tight in seconds, creating a cozy refuge from wind and spray. And when blue skies return, the side windows and sunroof slide open, the enclosure stows neatly away, and the space becomes an open-air sanctuary awash in sunlight and salty breeze.

Comfortable Accommodations for Weekend Cruising
Moving forward, wide side decks and high stainless-steel rails inspire confidence with every step, their sweep complementing the boat’s flare. Up front, twin lounges with articulating backrests invite you to stretch out and settle in, each thoughtfully equipped with cup holders and phone chargers, like every seat aboard. The broad, flush windlass anchor locker is seamlessly integrated, complete with washdowns and doubling as extra bow seating.
Music sets the mood wherever you roam, thanks to the Fusion sound system with dedicated zones for the bow, cockpit, helm, and cabin—so whether you’re entertaining at anchor or cruising toward the next horizon, the soundtrack follows you perfectly.
Tiara designed several wood steps leading into an atrium that brings natural light to the portside galley, equipped with an induction cooktop, sink, microwave, and two refrigerator/freezer drawers. An inductive phone charger pops up to reveal three electrical outlets with charging ports, while a side window with an opening port provides ventilation and daylight. This lower galley supports more upper-deck socializing and complements the wet bar serving both fore and aft decks.
The forward master stateroom and aft berth make overnights and long weekends effortless. Both offer under-berth storage, natural light, and access to an enclosed head with a separate shower, generous counterspace, and smart storage. The master enjoys extra headroom, abundant cabinetry, a hanging locker, and a skylight that brightens the space. Aft, the berth provides comfortable headroom, a handy bench, upholstered sidewalls, and a privacy curtain, creating a cozy, well-appointed retreat.
Tiara’s Blend of Craftsmanship and Innovation
The Tiara 39 LE stands out for its versatility, luxury, and convenience, but its performance and handling are equally impressive. The infused hull, deck, and bottom—combined with foam-cored hullsides and Tiara’s structural grid system—give the non-stepped hull excellent stability. Mercury power delivers ample torque, lifting the boat onto plane easily, with optimal cruising in the mid-40-mph range and a top speed of 54 mph.
Although our calm-water test didn’t challenge the ride, the boat steered confidently, turned smoothly without sliding, and felt planted and predictable. Despite its broad beam and substantial length, the 39 LE handled like a smaller boat, with instrumentation well placed and controls easily within reach. A third engine is optional—but only if you crave higher speeds.
Made in America and backed by three generations of passion for boating and customers, Tiara’s dedication to luxury and craftsmanship is evident in the 39 LE—a genuine pleasure to experience.
