Lumitec Extends Industry-Leading Five-Year Warranty for Ultimate Boating Confidence

Lumitec, a top name in marine LED lighting solutions, has announced an unprecedented five-year warranty on all its products. Effective immediately, this expansion extends Lumitec’s existing three-year coverage, reaffirming the company’s commitment to top-tier quality, durability, and exceptional customer service.

The new warranty will be retroactively applied to all Lumitec products purchased by retail customers from January 2025 onward. Additionally, boat manufacturers will benefit from this extended coverage starting with their 2025 model-year boats. This move sets a new standard in the industry and provides customers with long-term peace of mind.

“At Lumitec, we stand behind every product we built. Expanding our warranty to five years is not just a policy change—it’s a reflection of our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction,” said Chris Fulmer, president of Lumitec. “We want our customers to have complete peace of mind when they choose Lumitec, knowing they are investing in products built to last.”

Research and Development

Boaters demand lighting that can withstand the toughest marine environment, and Lumitec delivers. The company’s research and development facility features a state-of-the-art prototyping lab equipped with CNC machining centers, laser cutters, 3D printers, and thermal testing tools. These resources allow engineers to rapidly prototype, test, and refine innovations that continue to set the industry benchmark in lighting performance.

To ensure marine-grade reliability, Lumitec employs high-frequency vibration tests, thermal cycle stress tests, mechanical shock analysis, and salt spray chambers to simulate extreme marine conditions. This rigorous testing ensures that Lumitec lights perform in the harshest environments, from salty ocean air to turbulent waters.
