Publix Super Markets saw an opportunity with their new waterfront location and it was a no-brainer—add dock space for shoppers needing to provision. The 29,912 square-foot store offers its usual fare of grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat, and fresh produce as well as a full-service bakery, deli, and pharmacy, but the dock is a new feature where customers can park their boats, walk in, and shop.
That makes it really convenient when you’re headed out for a day at the sandbar or cruising and you forgot to pack that one condiment or drinks, and even if you didn’t have it at the house, you could stop by and pick it up on the way. It’s especially convenient for yacht charters to provision the boat.

The store features a full-service deli with handcrafted old-world delicacies, ingredients for tapas, and more than 200 artisan cheeses. The bakery is a scratch bakery, meaning that breads and rolls are baked fresh as well as an array of cakes and desserts, and the produce department carries organic fruits and vegetables along with locally grown choices. And don’t forget flowers for that added ambience or the wines from around the world.
From custom cuts of meat to seafood to paper products to a full-service pharmacy, the new Publix in Hollywood is now a one-stop shop for all your provisioning needs. Located at 3100 S. Ocean Drive, the store is north of Hallandale Beach Blvd past the Diplomat Beach Resort.

“The dock can accommodate three to four boats depending on the size of the vessel,” says Lindsey Willis, Publix media relations manager. “The floating dock for customers is another way to make shopping at Publix more convenient to those customers on the water. …We are excited to open this much-anticipated store and look forward to welcoming our customers to their new Hollywood Publix, introducing them to an array of new offerings, and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love.”
