Summertime calls for mandatory sunshine and optional tequila. So drink up this Tequila Sunshine!
If you’re feeling the summer heat, take a dip and then refresh with this bright and tasty Tequila Sunshine.
Tequila Sunshine
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. lime juice placed in a shallow rimmed bowl
1/4 cup sugar spread on a small plate
Ice cubes
8 oz. white or gold tequila
8 oz. orange juice
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. lime juice
Lime slices for garnish
Directions:
Rim four hurricane glasses (or any available) with lime juice, then sugar. Fill each glass with ice and top with 2 oz. tequila, 2 oz. orange juice, 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, and 1 tsp. lime juice. Stir. Garnish with lime slice. Serve with tortilla chips and salsa.
