I’ve had two of these hats. The first I bought at a local market on Anna Maria Island quite a few years ago. I wore it for quite a while. Then it disappeared! I was living in Hawaii and wore it on our boat. I was told it was capable of withstanding 45MPH winds with the pull of the ropes on the brim. I found a source to purchase another hat to replace the missing one. I wear it ALL the time while in the sun. It’s great for yard work as it’s cool.I’ve gently washed a couple times it in my bathtub with a good shampoo.I have a hat stand to dry it on. Comments quite often on it as well. Needed to find it online to give to another…Mahalo!
