New on the yachting scene, this Swiss brand’s debut 76-foot Adler Suprema model (75′ 10″ LOA, 19′ 10″ beam) presents some surprising twists on the traditional flybridge yacht, starting with the full carbon construction. Diesel-electric propulsion provides emission-free, silent cruising up to 10 knots; in diesel mode twin Caterpillars propel her to 28 knots.
Overall, this hybrid system offers a 50 percent fuel savings over traditional set-ups and exceptionally long range of 3,500 nautical miles at eight knots. Nuvolari Lenard lent its design expertise to the project with a sporty exterior and interior that can accommodate up to 10 guests plus two crew.
Technological innovations abound, including privacy glass that turns windows opaque and high-capacity batteries that power the house systems sans generator.
