The new Nordhavn 41 (41′ 4 ¼” LOA, 13′ 11″ beam) evolved from years of experience, testing, and the latest technology into a capable, safe, and seaworthy passagemaker. Certified CE Category Class A to operate in winds over 40 knots and wave heights to 13 feet, the hull went through a stringent computational fluid dynamic test to maximize efficiency and optimize running angles for improved performance. The yacht is fitted with twin Betamarine 85T Kubota 75-hp diesels that are turbo-charged but mechanically injected for a clean burning engine. Preliminary trials show a range of 1,558 nautical miles at 8 knots. The Nordhavn 41 is available with two layouts: a luxurious single owner’s cabin or a two-stateroom version. Teak and ebony laminate flooring, walnut cabinetry and paneling, and padded Majilite panels overhead provide comfortable accommodations and carry up to the salon and helm area.
