Quick Group continues to push the boundaries of marine stabilization technology with its advanced Quick Gyro systems. Building on already established performance, the company has refined every major component with a focus on mechanical, electronic, and dynamic control aspects – to further elevate efficiency, responsiveness, and overall reliability.
The latest developments focus on five core areas: noise reduction and weight optimization are ongoing improvement processes that began with previous versions and continue to be refined, while new developments focus on optimizing electrical absorption parameters, reducing start-up times, and developing advanced control algorithms. From optimised flywheel mass to improved efficiency and evolved control algorithms, the updated Quick Gyro range boasts increased stabilization capability, reduced power draw, increased electrical efficiency, and optimized spool-up time – achieving more than 30 percent reduction in the time required for the stabilizer to be ready from power-on in the case of the X13, X16 and X19 unit.
In the Quick Gyro the gyroscope flywheel rotates around a horizontal axis, evenly distributing the weight on the bearings, unlike other models with a vertical axis that primarily work on the lower bearing. The weight is better distributed, hence it requires less rotations and less effort and promotes quicker stabilization.
Quick Gyro stabilizers are engineered to reduce boat roll by up to 95%, delivering exceptional performance both at anchor and underway. The range is designed to accommodate vessels of any size – from small day cruisers and center consoles to large yachts and superyachts – with no installation constraints for new builds or refits. The lineup includes two product families: the X DC Series, powered by 12V DC and integrated drivers (six models), and the X AC Series, AC powered with external Driver Control (eleven models).
“The development of the Quick Gyro stabilizer range is something we have really committed to,” states Lorenzo Mongiardo, Chief Innovation Officer at Quick Group. “Although the updated units may appear aesthetically the same, we have fine-tuned every aspect of the internal engineering and design covering the mechanical, electrical and control aspects, with the goal of achieving greater system efficiency and delivering an overall improvement to a product that is already well established on the market.”
Enhancing customer confidence, Quick Group introduced an extended warranty program for Quick Gyro owners. By registering their unit through a dedicated online portal, customers can extend the standard two‑year warranty to a full four years. The extended warranty applies to eligible Quick Gyro models and remains valid as long as regular maintenance is performed by an authorized service center or certified technician.
“The extended warranty reflects our commitment to product quality, reliability, and long‑term customer support,” says Andreas Karlsen, Chief Commercial Officer at Quick Group. “It is a clear testament to the trust we have in the robustness of our gyro systems. It protects the long‑term value of our customers’ investment and strengthens the strong relationship between Quick Group and the boating community.”
The Quick Gyro’s ongoing evolution positions it as the natural choice for a broad spectrum of vessels and customers worldwide.
