Azimut Magellano 25
Azimut Yachts’ new Magellano 25 Metri (82′ 9″ LOA, 20′ 10″ beam) is an expedition yacht with style and class. To achieve an acceptable range on a planing vessel, the builder developed a new generation of the Dual Mode (D2P or displacement to planing) hull with twin chines designed to give the least resistance possible. Designer Vincenzo De Cotiis created two aesthetic options for the interior, which include four staterooms and five heads plus crew accommodations. The Contemporary design blends striking mixes of color, gold accents, and lots of mirrors. The Timeless version combines classic colors and textures with a more subdued approach. Azimut offers unique extras, such as an enormous bank of lithium batteries, “hotel mode” that eschews generators while running onboard systems day and night, and the builder’s BCOOL system that continuously circulates and sanitizes the air on board.
