Bluegame’s BGM75: A New Class of Multihull Yacht

Bluegame’s BGM75 is a revolutionary multihull yacht that doesn’t just fit into the existing catamaran market but creates an entirely new segment. Bluegame’s design blends the best qualities of monohulls and multihulls with a narrower beam-to-length ratio and a sleeker, more elegant profile. This design choice allows the two hulls to connect via horizontal surfaces, forming a unified interior volume with large, open spaces. Notably, the yacht features a full-beam owner’s cabin, a luxury typically unattainable in conventional catamarans.

From the stern, the yacht’s silhouette resembles a monohull, with the space between the hulls used for a fully automated tender garage—another feature that sets it apart from traditional multihulls. The boat’s reduced width also allows it to dock between monohulls, unlike traditional catamarans that need expansive docking space.

Bernardo Zuccon and Piero Lissoni designed the BGM75 with Zuccon’s futuristic exterior and Lissoni’s interior layout that ensures maximum comfort, refinement, and practicality through innovative use of space and materials to enhance both livability and luxury. A key innovation is the synchronized stabilization system, which represents the first successful application of this technology in a multihull. Developed in collaboration with Smartgyro, the system addresses the inherent challenges of stabilizing multihull vessels, which are prone to more roll due to their unique shape. Through extensive research, testing, and modifications to both the hull and stabilizer systems, Bluegame’s R&D team achieved a significant breakthrough to provide stability and comfort even in rough sea conditions.
