XPLORE: The Next Step in Fish Finding

The new XPLORE Fish Finder Series is a leap forward in technology, blending trusted features from Humminbird’s popular HELIX units with brand-new advancements. Designed with speed, clarity, and ease-of-use in mind, the XPLORE Series gives anglers a sharper view of what’s happening below—and around—the boat. Right out of the box, XPLORE impresses with a brilliant 1280 x 800 HD display. Whether you’re scanning structure, identifying fish, or looking at your maps, the detail is sharp and easy to read—even in full sunlight. The unit offers both touchscreen and keypad controls, giving you the flexibility to operate it your way, no matter the weather or conditions. XPLORE is built on a powerful new platform, featuring a quad-core processor for fast performance and near-instant start-up. You’ll spend less time waiting and more time fishing. The user interface has also been redesigned to make navigating menus and settings smoother and more intuitive.

Finding your favorite fishing spots—and getting back to them—is also easier. XPLORE includes detailed LakeMaster and CoastMaster charts, offering coverage for thousands of U.S. and Canadian lakes and coastal waters. These maps are loaded with depth contours, bottom hardness data, vegetation zones, and more to help you zero in on productive areas quickly. Humminbird has also overhauled waypoint management. With the new system, you can mark up to 10,000 custom waypoints and sync them with your phone using the Humminbird app. Choose from a variety of icons and color options to stay organized and easily identify your best fishing spots. XPLORE is fully compatible with the One-Boat Network, seamlessly integrating with Minn Kota trolling motors, shallow-water anchors, and other Humminbird technologies. With this level of connectivity, you can control your boat’s positioning, anchor deployment, and GPS routing right from the fish-finder screen.

 Other notable XPLORE features include:

  • Cross Touch Interface: Gives you the best of both worlds with touchscreen control and a full keypad.
  • SmartStrike Compatibility: Predicts where fish are most likely to be biting based on season, weather, and habitat data (available with purchase).
  • Multiple Display Sizes: Choose from 9-, 10-, or 12-inch models with customizable layouts and options to match your fishing style.
  • Full Sonar Compatibility: Works with MEGA Live Imaging, MEGA 360, Side Imaging, and Down Imaging transducers.

MEGA Live 2: Real-Time Clarity, Even on the Move

The MEGA Live 2 sonar is Humminbird’s latest innovation in forward-facing sonar. Built for crystal-clear, real-time viewing, MEGA Live 2 provides improved clarity, better stability, and more detail than ever before. Whether you’re scanning while stationary or trolling, the new transducer delivers steady, precise imaging so you can track fish, bait, and structure with total confidence. This upgraded transducer attaches to your trolling motor shaft and offers three different viewing modes: forward, down, and landscape. Each mode gives you a different perspective around your boat, allowing you to monitor fish activity in all directions without needing to reposition. What really sets MEGA Live 2 apart is its clarity and responsiveness. The improved TargetBoost feature helps suspended fish and bait stand out against background clutter, while better target separation lets you distinguish individual fish from structure or cover. With 15 optimized color palettes, you can tailor the display to match the day’s lighting and water conditions.

MEGA Live 2 Key Features:

  • Refined Real-Time Sonar: Ultra-clear imaging with better noise reduction and enhanced stability.
  • Improved Bait Tracking: Keep an eye on your lure and monitor fish behavior in real time.
  • Target Separation: Quickly identify fish near structure or bottom contours.
  • Versatile Viewing: Choose from forward, down, or landscape modes depending on your fishing situation.
  • One-Boat Network Integration: Syncs with Minn Kota gear for complete boat control and sonar coordination.
  • Wide Compatibility: Works with all Humminbird APEX, XPLORE, and SOLIX G3 models.
