Navy SEAL Museum Muster & Music Festival

On November 3rd and 4th, the Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida, invites the public to celebrate the 32nd Annual SEAL Museum Muster & Music Festival.

This exciting outdoor event is free of charge, and the museum welcomes all ages to enjoy this fun and family-friendly tradition.

The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum on North Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce is one of Florida’s most popular destinations. The  Treasure Coast from St. Lucie Inlet to Sebastian Inlet is home to some of Florida’s prettiest beaches and clearest water, drawing seasonal residents and visitors by the thousands. The area, however, has a history more interesting than most visitors realize or appreciate. When a group of former UDT Frogmen wanted to build a museum to tell the UDT-SEAL Team past, it was natural to locate it where the UDT-SEAL Team division began in Fort Pierce. From 1943 to 1946, thousands of men were trained as members of the Navy’s Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT).

The World War II UDT Frogmen evolved into the U.S. Navy SEALs as we know them today. The mission of the museum is to preserve the legacy and history of these brave men. Friday night festivities begin at 5 PM with live music and food truck fare. On Saturday, November 4th at 7 AM, all are welcome to “muster” on the beach for a 5K Beach Run/Walk, taking place along the  beaches adjacent to the museum, where the original Navy Frogmen trained years ago.

The day continues with the Naval Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs, dropping into nearby Pepper Park by air. The event also includes special guest speakers, SEAL Team tactical demonstrations, and SEAL Team K9 deployments. Meet currently active Navy SEALs and see their gear and vehicles up close. There will be live music and food trucks available all afternoon. Pursuit C 260

The Pursuit C 260 measures 25 feet, 10 inches long and features a well-appointed dash that has enough room for two multi-function displays. The driver can sit or stand depending on how the double-wide adjustable leaning post/seat arrangement is configured, and off the transom is a fold-down bench seat that clears out of the way for fishing space in the cockpit. Facing bench seats are built in the bow area, and a removable table inserts into the deck for dining. Built at the Pursuit facility in Fort Pierce, Florida, the C 260 offers yacht-caliber fit and finish. Hatches are finished inside and out, and interior highlights include bow storage to port and starboard, a thru-hull optional windlass system in the bow, a head and freshwater sink under the center pod, and a custom surfboard-styled, vacuum-infused hardtop.
A curved, recessed acrylic windshield built to accent the stylish lines throughout the interior and exterior appointments protects the helm, and there’s a built-in storage compartment in the hardtop within easy reach. The C 260 is offered with important standard features such as a 30-gallon livewell behind the helm seat, a 31-gallon insulated fish storage box and separate cooler in the transom. Maximum power is twin Yamaha 200-hp outboard engines, which push the boat to top speed of 52 mph. With a single Yamaha F350 outboard engine the boat runs to 51.7 mph. Cobia 344

The Cobia 344 CC features a twin-stepped hull and offers an exciting blend of rugged fishing features with luxurious appointments. The 34-foot, 4-inch boat is designed to partner with either twin Yamaha F350s or triple F300s for efficient running in big water. Topside amenities include a side dive/tuna door that opens inward for dockside boarding. The boat comes standard with an electronic table that flushes into the forward deck and lifts with the push of a button to create a forward sundeck or a higher table for the bow-seating area.

Cobia is based in Fort Pierce, Florida, and the 344 offers deluxe helm bolsters, a berth inside the step-down console, forward console seating with armrests and drink holders, and a foldaway aft bench seat. With the addition of the optional cooler to the forward console seating, the area converts to a forward-facing chaise lounge.

The 344 CC includes twin 41-gallon livewells with an optional pressurizing pump box, two in-floor fish boxes that are macerated to pump overboard, and horizontal rod storage hidden underneath the berth in the lockable console. The tackle center features a sink and rigging area along with tackle storage drawers and is designed to offer an aft-facing seat area for watching trolled baits. The helm area features standard Optimus electronic steering and Yamaha’s Command Link Plus display. Bilge access is achieved through a large access door with a standard electronic lift assist, and an in-floor lazarette provides access to additional rigging and the livewell pumping.
