While Sailfish Boats’ new 226 DC may be the smallest dual console in the company’s fleet, the 23-footer plays like a runabout but fishes like an open-water champ. The 226 DC (23′ LOA, 8′ 6″ beam) is built using the company’s Sailtech manufacturing process and is based on a Variable Degree Stepped (VDS) hull for improved performance and stability. Equipped with a 21-gallon livewell, insulated storage under each seat, full wraparound windshield, and plenty of seating, power options up to 200 horsepower are available from Mercury, Yamaha, or Suzuki. With a 200-hp Suzuki on the transom, the 226 DC had a top speed of 42.3 mph and range of 390 miles cruising at 25.6 mph. sailfishboats.com
