44th Annual Wooden Boat Show in Beaufort, NC

The North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort, North Carolina, brings back an annual favorite, the 44th Annual Wooden Boat Show, May 5-7 with a weekend full of nautical fun.

Whether you are a wooden boat enthusiast, a history buff or just appreciate the art and craftsmanship that goes into this fine woodwork, you won’t be disappointed at the Beaufort National Boatbuilding Challenge.

Wooden boat owners and builders from around the country attend this award-winning event every year to display their craft and learn from world-class shipwrights. As a spectator or participant, it’s an afternoon of fun and competition as the event showcases the art, skill, and speed of traditional boat builders.

Imagine what you could do with a stack of wood and four hours of time to construct a 12-foot Carolina Bateau skiff.
