Introduction
This Nelson Marek designed center cockpit cruiser is a tough,
go-anywhere boat with comfortable accommodations for five. She was
modified by an engineer/cabinet maker who re-designed much of the boat
to accommodate easy and comfortable passage. The transom has been
tastefully and cleverly redesigned with a sugar scoop transom that adds
1.5 feet to the overall length of the boat. This design, in addition to
making the boat slightly faster, is an excellent swim and dinghy
platform. Another MAJOR change in this boat is the Master Stateroom.
Originally a side-to berth, this stateroom now has a Full Island Berth
similar to the Morgan 44, with additional cabinetry, a built-in sit down
area to port, and lots of storage. The aft aluminum dinghy arch and the
cockpit hard top finish off this boat as truly custom and very
functional.
Vessel Walkthrough
The forward cabin has V-berth with hanging locker and head. Main
Salon has two comfortable lounge chairs with common table and a large
settee to starboard with centerline drop-leaf table. The table has been
designed with additional storage inside. Galley is next aft to
starboard and is equipped with deep single sink, CSI 3 burner CNG stove
with oven and microwave. Isotherm refrigeration with two-speed
compressor and digital temperature readout/control and separate freezer
compartment with its own compressor. A Nav Station with seat is to port.
A portside hallway leads aft with access to the engine room and Owners
Cabin. Owner’s cabin has Full Island berth, hanging locker, and private
head with tub/shower. The center cockpit is roomy with an enclosed
hardtop with lots of locker storage. The side decks are wide and provide
easy access forward and aft. There is a custom aft equipment arch on
the stern of the boat that also serves as a dinghy davit.
