Acciaio 130 is the third unit in a semi-custom series built by Cantiere delle Marche, following the successful launches of the Acciaio 105 Gatto and Acciaio 123 Astrum. Sharing its proven naval platform with the RJ 130—a vessel that demonstrated its outstanding cruising capabilities by reaching as far north as the 88th parallel in the Arctic Ocean—the Acciaio 130 embodies true explorer yacht DNA.
The yacht’s exterior design is characterized by an imposing flared bow, engineered to handle high seas, with a sheer line that flows seamlessly fore to aft, creating a sophisticated yachting silhouette.
This elegant curvature is echoed in the fashion plates, which cascade smoothly from the top of the superstructure down to the main, upper, and sun decks, framing the yacht’s signature windows.
At 415 GT, she’s surely among the vessel with the largest volume. Her distinctive interiors have been penned by the award winner Giorgio Cassetta.
Distinctive Layout Features
Among the most notable layout features is the partially enclosed sun deck, which houses a third salon, an ideal space for observing nature and wildlife in colder climates, or for hosting private gatherings at the highest point of the vessel.
The stern area also presents a unique concept: a full-beam staircase provides seamless access from the main deck cockpit to the swimming platform, creating a multi-level social area that is perfect for use at anchor. This inviting beach club atmosphere is further enhanced by a Finnish sauna located in the lazarette below.
The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across five guest cabins, including a spacious on-deck owner’s suite. The layout includes two Pullman beds within the guest cabins, providing flexible sleeping
arrangements. A crew of seven can discreetly service the yacht via dedicated internal staircases connecting the lower and upper decks, ensuring maximum privacy for guests.
Performance & Efficiency
Measuring 39.42 meters in length (130 ft) with a beam of 8 meters (26’2”) and a Bahamas and Caribbean friendly draft of 2.4m (7’8”), Acciaio 130 has a displacement of approximately 388 tons and she is built for
efficiency. Its hull design, featuring a bulbous bow, ensures reduced fuel consumption while delivering an impressive cruising range. Powered by two MAN engines delivering 749 kW each, the yacht reaches a
top speed of 13.5 knots and offers a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots.
The Acciaio 130 is a 39.4-metre explorer yacht built by Cantiere delle Marche (CDM), the Ancona-based shipyard celebrated for crafting robust, ocean-going vessels that combine Italian design flair with engineering excellence. This model follows the acclaimed Acciaio 105 and Acciaio 123, building on the same proven platform that has ventured as far as the 88th parallel in the Arctic—proof of true explorer pedigree.
Her exterior design by HydroTec reveals an imposing flared bow and elegant flowing lines that convey strength and sophistication in equal measure. With a gross tonnage of 415 GT, she boasts one of the most voluminous interiors in her size category, offering the feel of a much larger yacht while retaining remarkable efficiency. The Acciaio 130 is powered by twin MAN 749 kW engines, reaching a top speed of 13.5 knots and an impressive range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Interiors by Giorgio Cassetta capture the essence of timeless Italian luxury. Warm tones, natural textures, and generous glazing create a refined atmosphere where guests can unwind in comfort. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, two double cabins, and two twin cabins with Pullman beds. A crew of seven is housed in three separate cabins with independent access routes, ensuring discretion and privacy for guests at all times.
One of the yacht’s signature spaces is the partially enclosed sun deck, conceived as a third salon and sky lounge. This panoramic haven can serve as a peaceful observation area in colder climates or as a private retreat for entertaining under the stars. The stern beach club extends over multiple levels, connected by a full-beam staircase that flows seamlessly from the main deck cockpit down to the hydraulic Opacmare platform, which serves as both a swim platform and a launch system for tenders and water toys.
The beach club is further enhanced by a Finnish sauna and skylights that gently illuminate the area below deck. Outdoor living areas include a bar with grill and ice maker, dining tables finished in teak, and convertible seating arrangements that adapt to every mood—from relaxed afternoons at anchor to elegant dinners by the sea.
Onboard systems are designed for comfort and autonomy: twin CAT 80 kW generators, zero-speed electric stabilizers, bow thruster, watermaker, air conditioning and heating throughout, and Wi-Fi prewiring ensure that life on board is as smooth and effortless as possible. The galley is equipped to professional standards with induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, while the laundry area provides washer and dryer units for extended cruising.
Blending the sturdiness of a steel expedition vessel with the elegance and refinement expected from an Italian luxury yacht, the Acciaio 130 is designed for those who seek to explore the world in absolute comfort—whether crossing oceans or discovering secluded bays in the Mediterranean.
