New Boat: Numarine 70HT
Numarine, the Turkish shipyard known for high-performance motoryachts, introduces their modern 70-foot stunner.
By Christine Carpenter
Bold lines and distinctive styling with unique aesthetics and renowned performance set the Numarine 70HT apart from others in the motoryacht class. Technology and function are at the core—seen in the vacuum-infusion construction process, the cutting-edge hull design and the structural methods used to highlight the luxury appointments.
A major emphasis was given to space and light, with a large one-piece windshield, over-size side windows in the saloon, and large side windows in the master cabin. This airy feel gives guests a sense of openness and creates a connection to the sea and all surrounding areas.
The modern interior includes minimalist colors, chic lacquers and wood veneering for a fresh-feeling, natural environment. Two standard layouts can be chosen: 3 cabins with a below-deck galley and full saloon-level dining area, or 4 cabins with the galley seamlessly flowing into the saloon. A double crew cabin with crew dining is optional in place of the tender garage.
The exterior boasts a spacious cockpit with an extra-wide aft-facing sun pad, a roomy dining area with wet bar, and a hydraulic swim platform for ease in and out of the water. The bow offers two separate sun pads for sunbathing and a lounge area with comfortable seating and a folding table for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Twin MAN 1200 motors propel the Numarine 70HT to top speed of over 34 knots while still delivering high range at cruising speed of 28 knots and extreme fuel efficiency due to the overall light weight. Two generators are also standard.
