New Launch—Couach Yachts 1300 Hornet
Couach Yachts, known for 65 to 200-foot pleasure yachts and military boats, launches their high-speed, high-performance, high-tech 42-foot Hornet.
A European launch marries
extreme speeds, maximum safety,
powerful design, and loads of equipment.

Couach proudly introduces their new boat design for cruisers who crave thrills, performance and power, which is where the Hornet comes into play. Couach’s trademark deep-V hull combines with the Rolla propeller system and Arneson drive shaft for seaworthiness and a smooth ride at high speeds. This 42-foot beauty utilizes the same on-board equipment found on military boats, which provides unequalled reliability, technical prowess and sturdiness.
A progeny of the 1300 FIC (Fast Interceptor Craft)—a military vessel—the Hornet’s design is lightweight and calibrated to be performance and shock resistant for intensive use up to 12 hours a day. As technology and safety vie for the top spot, comfort also makes it way to the forefront. Officially approved for 12 passengers, the Hornet has 7 bolster seats and a large sundeck aft with high-quality outdoor fabric and anti-slip liquid resin—paint, upholstery and other stylistic options are entirely customizable.
On the exterior a blue-grey camouflage may catch your attention, but on the interior the homey touches do the trick. The cabin is complete with a berth, head and 12V espresso coffee machine—the essential European touch—while the U-shape fittings adjoin the pilot console with a 90-liter refrigerator and sink. The Hornet is the first of its kind from Couach and is sure to make a mark in the performance boat market with its comfortable, sleek, speedy performance.
