This naval architect is a three-time U.S. Women’s Sailing Champion and two-time Yachtswoman of the Year. She established the National Junior Sailing Symposium and is only the second woman to be inducted into the NSHOF.
2) Bill Buchan (Medina, Washington)
Best known as a three-time Star World Champion and 1984 Star Olympic Gold Medalist, Buchan was the oldest member of the entire U.S. Olympic Team across all sports at age 49 in 1984.
3) Dave Curtis (Marblehead, Massachusetts)
Two-time ICSA All-American with a number of one-design titles in multiple classes. This seven-time Etchells World Champion and two-time Rolex Yachtsman of the Year is a sailmaker known for building fast sails.
