Handi-Mate’s outboard extension
locks into 6 lengths and
expands to 47 inches.

Davis Instruments wants to help small boat owners maintain even weight distribution, particularly on a solo trip. The Handi-Mate® outboard extension handle lets the cruiser move into a safe, central position while still maintaining control of the craft. The Handi-Mate is designed to permit full steering and throttle capability on any twist-grip outboard motor, without changing throttle tension adjustment. The 16-ounce Handi-Mate handles easily, whether it is locking into one of six different lengths or is expanding from 30 to 47 inches by the press of a button and a turn of the locking knob.
The tough polycarbonate head clamps over the outboard’s existing handle grip, while leaving access to the kill button. Durable anodized aluminum construction and stainless steel hardware protect against rust and corrosion. Davis Instruments also offers replacement knobs and bodies for the Handi-Mate.
One-year warranty; MSRP $46.99
