The Austin Parker 42 Open—which made its U.S. debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October 2012—impresses with ample light, abundant space and fast velocity.
Naval architect Fulvio di Simoni designed the 42 Open with original classic lines and a chic look. The hull’s two long windows let in plenty of light into the large owner’s bow cabin designed with plenty of wardrobes and wall cupboards. A central hardtop with large windows ensures plenty of light in the interior and create a very comfortable outdoor saloon.
With two 480-hp Cummins or Yanmar with straight shafts or two IPS 500 Volvo Penta units, the 42 Open has a top speed of 32.5 knots, or, up to 12 passengers can enjoy cruising at 28 knots.
