Chris-Craft Corsair 32
A legendary builder
offers a closed-deck cruiser
with flash and panache
At a July 2012 Sales Meeting held in Sarasota, Florida, Chris-Craft dealers’ jaws dropped when they first set eyes on the new Corsair 32. Its gleaming hull in a sparkly taupe shade called Cashmere Metallic glittered in the south Florida summer sun. “We are very excited about our new custom color offerings for 2013, which include ability to please the discerning Chris-Craft customer, by building the boat to their exact specifications, and we do this all in-house,” said Chris-Craft President Steve Heese.
Choice of exterior color, however, is only the beginning of options for discriminating buyers. Three Heritage Edition Teak options are available in natural or varnished finishes with either black or blonde teak caulking. The interior cabin can be ordered with a choice of cherry or walnut cabinetry and three different color combinations for interior upholstery and seating. The well-appointed saloon includes a standard refrigerator, 22-inch flat-screen TV, full head with shower, solid surface countertops, and cabin that sleeps two. An optional galley package adds a stove and microwave.
Topside, the comfortable cockpit features a double Captain’s helm chair to starboard with a matching single companion chair to port. Guests enjoy large U-shaped seating with aft-facing lounges and a refrigerator within easy reach under the port seating. A spacious aft sunpad accommodates several sunbathers who, after cooling off with a dip in the water, can freshen themselves on the large teak swim platform with hot and cold transom shower.
