you need it, then stows easily
SureShade, manufacturer of retractable sunshade systems for the marine industry, has new sunshade designs that are optimized for mounting on radar arch structures on cruiser style boats. These new self-supported, retractable sunshade designs by SureShade eliminate the need for the intrusive poles often found on pleasure boats.
- The aft deck is in complete shade with the touch of a button.
- The SureShade covering extends out of the Boston Whaler’s T-top
- The telescoping supports deploy easily.
The SureShade System was neatly installed on the new MasterCraft 300 at the 2011 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. MasterCraft is one of 20 builders incorporating SureShade into new builds. These new sunshade designs can be integrated into an existing hardtop or radar arch structures, with automated or manual retractable options. SureShade boat tops are for boat owners who want to be able enjoy basking in the sun and switch to full-shade coverage quickly and easily. The patented self-supported framework technology ensures there are no poles to interfere with deck activities such as fishing or boarding. Passengers lounging in the cockpit of a cruiser with a SureShade System have unobstructed views while enjoying extensive sun protection.
The cost for a standard manual system starts at $2,800, while a standard automated system starts at $5,000. For some boat applications, there may be additional customization charges such as fiberglass or mounting components.
